I thought you had to befriend Ellen and in winter give her wool. But i tried that and it didnt work. Oh yea. Does some one know about that cheat that says in Harvest moon friends of mineral town if you name your baby after a character in the game they will give you a certain amount of money and if they sell somthing they will give you an unlimited amount of it. Do you have to do somthing besides have a baby in the game to make this work Please tell me

How do I get cliff to accept my proposal? Because I got him up to red heart and I gave him the blue feather but he didnt accept it. Everyone would say just to go to Manna and Duke's winery at 6:00 to 7:00 and they will be arguing and stuff but I tried that and it didn't work I bought the big bed and everything the only thing is I think I missed a heart thing cause I didn't see cliff faint in the square in the winter so wat do I do?

Sock - Befriend Ellen and give her wool once a day during Winter. It doesn\'t matter what size the wool is. Eventually Ellen will knit you a sock \'With lightning speed.\'

Cliff - Of course his heart must be red and all of the moments must have been experienced.

Copper - Found in the Spring Mine, where the hot spring is, the little cave type things. Hit the rocks with your hammer and you will eventually find copper.

I married Cillf at like 5th year VERY easy. When you propose to him it has to be a Blackish-red heart and a scarlet one. Just give him 9 of his fave things a day or more,it wont take long it took me about a month.

To get past the rock in the mountains,you must have a Cursed Hammer which I think is on the 19th floor in the Spring Mine.

Ellen- you know who she is, well if you want socks, you gotta befreind her... of course. She likes spa-boiled eggs and yarn. Don't just give her wool, it doesn't work!☺☻♥

Yarn- I shall tell you how to get yarn because nobody is giving you a straight anwser. What you do is your barn has to be upgraded, have to of bought the wool maker from the blacksmith's shop ( which requies 20,000G, and some adamntite (which I probaly didn't spell right)), have them make it, you shall find it in your newly upgraded barn, where the barrels used to be is where it is, it is brown. Throw wool in it... Tadaa, there you go!

You can get Cliff to marry you by going into the winery (shop) ,between 5 and 6 or 6 and 7 i cant remember but its in the summer, and Duke and Manna will be arguing ( supposedly about the affair between you and Cliff). When it comes time, Duke will ask you something about Cliff and you HAVE to respond by saying "He thinks too much" a few words later, Cliff will walk in and Duke will suggest that you go on a dinner date together. After that you will be able to propose to Cliff. This has to occur or you will never be able to marry Cliff, no matter how much he or you loves him.

Don\'t worry about missing any heart events! if u find out where and when they are, you can go to them. there are lots of websites that have the heart events for all of the bachelors...i had cliff at a red heart and then i went back to see two of his heart events and it totally worked...and then he married me!

Ok, alot of people seem to be having problems with Cliff... I married him in Spring of my second year... He is kinda hard to get, but is still possible... Make sure you have a FULLY extended house with everything in it from the T.V. shopping network... Also, you have to experience almost ALL of the heart events, escpecially the red one! (I didn\'t do the first two events.) His favorite food is Curry Rice and he HATES Buckwheat chips... I did NOT use any cheat codes at all. Good luck to everyone that wants to marry Cliff! =)

Baby: I am pretty sure your baby will just grow, stay on your farm and never help you. I am not positive, however.

Harvest Sprites: You have to give them many gifts. You need every sprite to have at least 3 affection hearts to visit, I believe. You will get a letter in the mail eventually.

Married: No, you are not the only person who gets married in the game. The other townsfolks will get married a few years after you. If you are close friends with them, you may even get invited to their wedding by mail!

k everyones freekin out its not that hard to get cliff n for the person who says you have to have the vaka house not true at all i have been playin harvest moon games since back in the day lol lol but for the ppl who anoyed by the freekin out ppl that just cant seem to figure the game out the idea is to use small words axact thing to do when to do it kinda thing so for cliff i married in in the second year you do not need to expearience all the heart events u do not need a vacation house but im going to help you so here we go read carefully:

Needs:
#1.befriend duke and wife give duke wine or little snacks such as chocolate,wild grapes ect. You dont need to give all thease things to him just what ever you can afford to but is fav is wild grapes and wine.also befriend his wife too she likes flowers perfume u no girly stuff.
#2:most important:invite cliff to help pick wild grapes with you when you befriend duke:
#3:befriend carter the preast:alot of people have this problem and ask why cant i marry cliff why wont he say yes well its might be because you haven made friends with carter the preast hes cliffs best friend he was the only person cliff would talk to at first evan after you marry him he still goes to see him everyday they talk about each other all the time so for ppl that might be having trouble well mayb its cuz you haven befriend carter.
#4:level 3 extenshion on house: thats a must have he may look like a bum but he sure knows how to hussle ya lol

Personally i gave cliff chocolate everyday n when i did not have any to give him i gave him anything i had food wise apples grapes whatever if u dont have the kitchen yet thats what your best bet would be to do is give him chocolate then when you get the kitchen give him curry bread every once in a while espechially on her bday make sure u wrap it more heart point hehe.. Now for all the people that think you need all heart event well ya dont i only expearienced the church event and the last event for cliff then i gave him a bunch of chocolate at once then pulled my fether out and whalla lol now if you need any more help email me

Between 9am and 11am go to ellens house give her (m wool or m yearn its much faster u also have to be friend with her grandson and grandaughter ellie and her little brother id you dont no who im talking about anyway keep doing that everyday it always takes awhile depending on how your friendship status is with her if you have gottin past the sandwitch part she tell u how to make sandwitches your on your way dont aviod her see her as much as u can or her friendship leval will drop fast after u get the sock then fuck the bitch lol jk

Okayy. To get cliff(even though i haven't married him yet):
These are what i've been told:
1) You have to buy everything in the TV Shopping Network.
2) You have to extend your house 2 times(before you can buy large bed)
3) Witness and experience all 4 heart events.
Especially the yellow heart event---
On fall, tuesday, friday or sunday, go to the winery at around 5 to 7 pm.
You will see manna and duke quarelling about cliff and you.
Duke will ask you a question. Choose " He thinks too much"
Even if you choose "nothing", it is ok too. Cliff will still ask you out for dinner and the next day, you will be able to marry him(:
I still havent experience the yellow heart event yet, eventhough i alrdy have cliff on red heart.. ):

And now, i need some help!
Some ppl say that to get puppies, you have to show hannah(barley's dog) your dog often. But i have gone to the extend of putting my dog in barley's house overnight and yet still no puppies!! Why?

To get puppies, you need to befriend Barely and take your dog over to the house and leave him there for a year, then Barely will come to you and say they had puppies and if you say yes, you'll get puppies.

to get the sock you give ellen yarn between 9-11
but be warned, when you give it to her, she will knit and when you go out of the house it is 6pm

Yarn and Cheese: First of all, you need to expand your barn with the help of Gotz, the woodcutter. After many days, it'll be done. (I think 3 or more days) Next, wait for winter and go to the lake mine. Find adamtite (wrong spelling I guess...) then go to the blacksmith. You'll need 20,000G and adamtite. After 5 days, it'll be ready in your barn.

Sock: After getting yarn, give it to Ellen, Elli and Stu's mother (or grandmother, I don't really know) then afterwards, she'll make you a sock.

Gray Tips:
Yes, Gray. The totally attractive, punk style Gray. To get him to a red heart, it's best if you give him ores (except junk ore) that are found in the spring mine and some wood. He's very easy but be careful of the rival events!

Need help on Cliff's Heart Events ?


Black Heart

Go into the Mineral Church on Tuesday or Thursday between 10:00 am and 6:00 pm. Carter welcomes you and asks that you listen to his request. He says that the person sitting to the left is Cliff and he's had a bad year. Carter is asking that you talk to Cliff to help cheer him up. Cliff is new to Mineral Town too, just like you are. Cliff isn't a very talkative person.

Walk up to Cliff and he'll introduce himself. Carter's right, he does seem very sad! Cliff can't figure out why you're talking to him and asks if he has something on his face. He learns you're just trying to cheer him up, so he apologizes for seeming so tense. Tell him to Relax and he'll cheer up a little bit. Cliff says he's looking forward to talking to you again.


Purple Heart

This one can be tough to find at the Church if it's before you've seen the Fall Wine Harvest event. If it's before, you can see this on Monday, Wednesdays, or any rainy day at exactly 4:00 pm. If it's after the Wine event then you can see this from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, or Friday.

When you walk into the Church, Carter and Cliff will be inside. Carter says he's been talking to Cliff about having dinner at the Church and Cliff asks if you would like to dine together with them. You automatically agree. Carter says Ann will be bringing dinner by later, but in the meantime he would like the place cleaned up a little bit.

Suddenly Carter says he hears someone who needs his guidance from the Confessional booth. He goes to the booth and leaves you and Cliff alone together! Cliff is a little baffled, but asks if you would help him since Carter left. Tell him you will (option 2) and the two of you will get to work.

Carter will return once the cleaning is finished. He thanks the two of you for working on the meal. Now you all can enjoy it together. You'll exit the Church at 7:00 pm.


Blue Heart

You must own the largest Rucksack to see this event.

You can trigger this event by walking from Town screen north of your farm towards the Town screen where the Winery is located. The days are Monday, Wednesday, or Friday between 3:00 pm and 4:00 pm. This event can only occur after you have invited Cliff to the Fall Wine Harvest event.

You'll find Duke and Cliff talking together. Their work is done for the day, at least in Duke's opinion. Cliff is more than willing to continue working, but Duke tells him Manna worries about him working so much.

Duke will spot you walking by and ask to come over. He then suggests to Cliff that he take you up to Mother's Hill! Cliff stutters and says he has to keep working, but Duke boots him out of the vineyard.

At the top of Mother's Hill, Cliff apologizes for Duke's behavior. He enjoys the lifestyle of the town and says he really enjoys helping others. Cliff asks if you like working on your farm and you can tell him you like it (option 1) or you don't like it. He is glad to hear you too like to work and he enjoys working in the winery. Cliff then give you a Flower Decoration that he had created.


Yellow Heart

Walk into the Winery's house on Sunday, Tuesday, or Thursday between 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm. Inside you'll find Duke and Manna gossiping to each other. Duke is wondering if Manna doesn't care about Cliff, but Manna scolds him and says she does care, but she doesn't overly worry about him. It is none of their business what "they" do.

The two of them will then notice that you've walked in. They both greet you and Duke wants to ask a question. Manna tells him to mind his own business but Duke doesn't understand what's so bad about worrying for his family? Duke then asks you what you think Cliff's bad parts are. You can reply that he thinks too much (option 1) or nothing strikes you as being bad.

Duke and Manna are glad that you do understand him well to see that he does have his faults. Cliff walks in and tells them that he's done with the day's work. Duke then explains that you've come to have dinner with him! Cliff is glad to hear that and the two of you head to the Inn for a meal.

Cliff walks you home that evening and thanks you for dining with him.

Oh yeah, once more advise (:

When the boy has a red colored heart on his portrait, hand him the Blue Feather you bought. He'll accept your proposal if you've met all the requirements. If he declines, make sure you've seen all of the Heart events. Sometimes a boy just need a few more gifts before he'll change his mind. The two of you will get married a week later and the ceremony will take the entire day. The wedding can not occur on the same day as a Yearly Event so it will automatically be postponed to the following day.

Won, Kappa, and Gourmet have invisible hearts. You still have to give them gifts in order to woo them, but you can't tell how far along you are in the love process. Those three secret bachelors have a different series of events that must take place before they'll accept your Blue Feather.

I want to unlock the selling mode with Won but can't seem to do it. I read the things posted by others in other websites and they said i need to give gifts to Won everyday. My character is already married and I'm afraid that if i give gifts to Won and triggered a heart event, my character's spouse might get mad. Will this happen? Please help me....

Doctor's favourite item to receive is Milk, just so you all know. It can be any size. The site doesn't list it, but I have tried apples and find that I woo him faster if I give him milk everyday, but try it for yourselves!
