Franchise mode options
Select "Game Modes", then "Franchise". Select "Business", then choose "Stadium". You can now create your seats, ticket price, and more. You can also choose "Marketing" at the "Business" menu and go to "Promotions". From here you can make bobble heads, bat nights, ball nights, and television settings in "TV".
Raising stats
Change the game tuning options to subtract all advantages from the CPU and give all of the advantages to player one When you create a position player, move the speed all the way up. This will allow you to artificially pump your stats. Your stolen bases will come at inflated rates. Singles will be easily stretched into doubles, doubles to triples, and triples to inside the park homers. It will not be very difficult for you to quickly build up your player stats, as the better you are the quicker your experience points will rise. Additionally, become a first baseman in the Detroit Tigers organization. You will have a strong lineup in the minor and major leagues that will get on base ahead of you, and give you RBI opportunities. Becoming a first baseman also cuts your errors down, because you are not throwing the ball nearly as much.

To boost your chances of hitting a home run press the R3 button forward and the X button at the same time when the ball is pitched 3/4 ways. This should help hit home runs up to 425ft. Note that this doesnt work all the time.
