where is troll cave

The troll cave is located in the Troll Hole chapter. At the very start of the level talk to gandalf. Then move through the small inlet. You will find a training scroll. Then you will automatically talk to someone in your party. After that travel down the rock path. You will then enter an open field. Here you will fight three wolves. Then to youre right there will be a small alcove with a chest. Open that. Then travel out of the alcove and follow the large rock to youre right. You will see a platform. Then a series of platforms. Then you will see an elf. talk to him. He will say that the climb was tough. What a baby Anyway keep following the platforms and soon you will find the troll cave. Good Luck

To get past the first Troll at Roast Mutton you must sneak behind rocks and wait for the Troll to be walking the other way and run up the rock steps opening the chest at top. Second troll you wait behind the stump that hes scratching himself on when he heads for other scratching post run to next rock. Wait here until he walks again to first scratching post and make a break for the leafless path behind the third troll. Sneak carefully past him staying on the path. Once youre on the rocks you can safely make your way to next troll which has a save pedestal next to him. Dont miss the bag of coins here. While this troll is yawning you can sneak by him to next rock but no further until the next troll isnt looking. Just carefully watch this one and stay behind rocks until you reach the last troll and the purse. When you go for the purse you will get caught but thats spose to happen. Good luck.

To free the Dwarves after Smaug leaves mountain you must decend into the ravine using the cliffs and ropes. Once at the bottom you will see a square rock with a hole in the floor next to it. Push the rock by approaching and hitting enter and moving in the direction of the hole on floor. This will plug the hole and water will begin to fill room... run to higher ground quickly jump from cliff to cliff but when you get to the next cube you must plug that hole as well...the water will stop filling if you dont. There are three holes to plug and you must move quickly to stay above water level. Then you find the wooden plank that will begin to float. Get on that and ride it to top. Good luck.

The Troll Cave:

Once you reach the first cave entrance after jumping on the platforms you have to work your way up inside the cave. There are numerous creatures and treasure chests with traps inside the cave and hidden treasures behind waterfall and other nook and crannies. After working you way up and exploring all tunnels and you reach daylight or outside through the tunnel opening theres another level of the cave that can be reached by climbing the vine outside on the cliff to your left.

This will take you again inside the cave where the key is located on a pedestal that can be reached by jumping on the hovering platforms that must me activated with a clear crystal which has to be located in one of the smaller tunnels.

Once you get the key you need to jump from that platform to the hovering platform then to the rope leading to another cave. Work your way through the tunnel you will come outside again this is where you will see the huge cave opening slightly higher up the mountain. This is where Im stuck and dont know how to do the long jump using the stick to reach that raised cliff.

im stuck where you are to Dexterous please if you find out how to get there let me know im going insane trying how te get there.

for all the people that cant get past trolls first one is easy when goes to get mutton run up the stairs then he will move to scratch his back then gowhen he leaves the tree and goes to the rock do not sneak then sneak across the leaves and get across the ledges he will move between 2 rocks and yawn when he yawns sneak past him so when you are almost at the rock run and make sure you go to a far rock or bert will catch you then run across the rocks avoiding bert then take the wallet

you must tip toe by pressing down the left trigger and try to stay on the path and if he looks at you freeze cause he is blind so he won\\\'t see you but remember he can still hear.

Thieves Hideout; challenge 2 floating docks:
Once past wine bottles u will be on a doc w/ control panel to your right. Here u will reposition docks. Top left and right corners of room are switches, bottom left and right are doors opening up to 2 chest and 1 switch each (u need to open chests before throwing switch). To begin, connect floating \\\"T\\\" dock to main doc that houses control panel. Then make a path from top right corner switch down then across to lower left door. Exit control panel and proceed to top right switch to activate lower left door (move QUICKLY as door is on a timer once opened). Once completed, return to control panel. Attach the right handed 90 degree floating to the main dock and continue to make a path to access top left switch and lower right doors, then exit panel. U will need to move VERY QUICKLY from top left switch to lower right doors. Openchest and throw switch. Return to control panel and make a path directly up the middle to exit challenge 2.
