3DO :: Shockwave 2 - Beyond The Gate Cheat Codes
Code notes:These codes can be activated during game play in any mission. The codes are based on memory sentences (mnemonics) where the letters A, B, and C are the corresponding buttons on the controller, and E is RS. To initiate the secret codes, press and release B to fire the laser. Press P to pause the game while the laser is visible on the screen. (Note that the codes will not work if B and P were pressed at the same time.) Now, press RS(2), B, A, B, RS, A, C, A (mnemonic: THREE BABES IN A CAR). After entering the code, press X. Instead of stopping, the game will continue in cheat mode. Cheat mode must be entered after each mission is started in order for all other codes to work.
Refuel
Press P to pause game play. The laser does not need to be visible. Press A, RS, A, RS(2), A (mnemonic: A GREAT NEED FOR GAS). Press X to resume game play.
Super laser
Press P to pause game play. The laser does not need to be visible. Press B, RS, A(2), RS (mnemonic: BIG MEGA LASER). Press X to resume game play.
Smart bomb
Press P to pause game play. The laser does not need to be visible. Press A, RS, A, B(2) (mnemonic: A MEGA BOMB). Press X to resume game play.
End mission successfully
Press P to pause game play. The laser does not need to be visible. Press A, C, A, RS, A(2), B, A(3) (mnemonic: A CAT EATS A BANANA). Press X to resume game play.
Instant death
Press P to pause game play. The laser does not need to be visible. Press A, B, C(2), B, A, RS(3). Press X to resume game play.
Invincibility
Press P to pause game play. The laser does not need to be visible. Press A(3), C, RS (mnemonic: I AM AN ACE). Press X to resume game play.
Turbo
Press P to pause game play. The laser does not need to be visible. Press A(2), RS(2), C, A (mnemonic: WHAT A SPEEDY CAR). Press X to resume game play.
Toggle bouncing/wrapping
Press P to pause game play. The laser does not need to be visible. Press A, B, A, B, RS (mnemonic: WRAP BABE). Press X to resume game play. Use this code to alternate between the bouncing and wrapping modes. The normal mode of the game is "bouncing", where your ship bounces against the map limit. "Wrapping" mode allows your ship to exit the map on one side and re-enter on the opposite side.
Easy instrument panel access:
While using the elevation scanner, press X to view the instrument panel.
Passwords:
A Jumpgate code is revealed after each system is completed. These codes may be manually entered to access a particular system. The codes consist of six of the fifteen total symbols available. Refer to the symbols as arranged in three rows (A, B, and C) of six symbols each, except row C which only contains three symbols:
