BulbasaurBulbasaur can be found at Cerulean City, near the Pokecenter.
Charmander
Charmander can be found at Route 24 N.W.
Farfetch'd
Farfetch'd can be found on Routes 12 and 13.
Magnemite
Magnemite can be found in grass before the rock tunnel entrance.
Squirtle
Get the Thunder Badge on the S.S. St. Anne, then go to Vermilion City to find Squirtle.
Arcticuno, Zapdos, and Moltres
When you have reached the mystical bird (Arcticuno, Zapdos, and Moltres), save the game before going into battle. This will allow you to restart if you knock them out or run away.
Pikachu surfing mini-game
Note: The Pokémon Stadium game on the Nintendo 64 is required for this trick. Successfully complete the tournament mode on Pokémon Stadium without using any rented Pokémon. Then, transfer Pikachu to the Pokemon: Yellow Edition cartridge to play the Pikachu surfing mini-game.
Note: This trick requires a Game Shark cartridge. Use the following code to unlock Surfing Pikachu without using Pokémon Stadium. Note: Pikachu must in the first position, then use one of the following codes:
- 013972D1 (To overwrite the first attack with Surf)
- 013973D1 (To overwrite the second attack with Surf)
- 013974D1 (To overwrite the third attack with Surf)
- 013975D1 (To overwrite the fourth attack with Surf)
- 013973D1 (To overwrite the second attack with Surf)
This will not glitch the game if you set the switch to normal and turn it to on after the game starts. To play the mini-game, simply travel to the Surfing Guru south of Fuchia City and talk to him.
Another method is to trade Pikachu to a Red version of the game. Use the GameShark code on that version of the game to teach Pikachu Surf. Then, trade Pikachu back to the Yellow version. Travel to the Surfing Guru south of Fuchia City and talk to him.
Printing Pokemon
Your Pokemon can be printed at the Pokemon Club in Vermilion City.
Defeating Brock
Catch a Caterpie in Viridian Forest. Advance it to level 7 and he will evolve into a Metapod. Advance it to level 11 and it will evolve into a Butterfree. Butterfree can beat JR. Trainer and Geodude. Butterfree will have to be at least level 13 before it can beat Brock. Note: Use your Pikachu's tail whip to lower their defense.
Jesse and James locations
To find these team rocket members, go to these locations:
- Mt. Moon (before you exit)
- Celadon game corner (before you face Giovanni)
- Pokemon tower, Lavender Town (before you rescue Mr. Fuji)
- Sliph Co. (before facing Giovanni again, and before you get a Master Ball)
- Celadon game corner (before you face Giovanni)

Get Aerodactyl
to get aerodactyl make sure one of your pokemon knows cut. go to pewter city and cut down the tree thing thats blocking the entrance to the back of the meuseum. go in and talk to the science dude guy next to old amber. he will give you the old amber. then go to cinnaber island and give old amber to the dude who makes fossils come alive. wait like 5 minutes then he will give you a aerodactyl lv 30. train it to level 55 and it learns hyper beam.

Did you know that a pokemon name bomber. It is tough to beat. you have to go to the forest and beat pokemon till a spider comes. fight it then go to brock before 20 seconds runs out. Then you will see it again. fight it. then you will have to kidnap brock cheat then you will have to defeat team rocket again then you have bomber.
To make your Rydon learn surf yo have to fly to viridian city talk to the old man an dlet him show u how to catch pokemon the fly to Fuchsia city then give rydon the HM.

you can get 10000 rare candies if you talk to the old man.fly to cinnabar island and surf up and down until you find a pokemon that dosent belong in the water. dont cath it
just a note you have to have a gameboy color for the cheat to get 99 of an item by cinnabar cause i tried a million times using a gameboy advance and i wouldnt work.
to get 99 of the 6 item you need to first fly to viridian city and talk to the old man about cating pokemon and let him show you how to cathe a pokemon and after that go to cinnabar island and turn right to you get to the edge of the water and surf up and down untill a person called malcom and then catche it ........happy gaming

Another way to defeat Brock is to catch a nidoran girl/boy and level it up to level 12. It will learn double kick and rock pokemon are weak against fighting-type moves so your nidoran can beat his pokemon.

i know how to get fly. first you go to celadon city. go all the way to the left then you will see a path a go through there and you will need cut to cut down the bush and then you will see a long house go all the way through the house and and keep on walking intill you see a little house and a girl will be there talk to her and she will give you fly.

How to Catch Mew in Pok?mon Red/Blue/Yellow
Yes, believe it or not, it can be done without a GameShark or other cheating device. Here's what you'll need to do:
* Restart your game and play until you get HM02 Fly from the house west of Celadon City.
* DO NOT fight the following trainers:
o The Youngster with a Slowpoke (Level 17) on the road to Bill's house (Route 25). He is the fourth trainer after you cross Nugget Bridge, standing directly above a female trainer and facing north.
o The Gambler with two Poliwags and a Poliwhirl (all Level 22) between Lavender Town and Saffron City (Route 8). He is standing just east of the entrance to Saffron City, facing north toward the door of the Underground Path.
* Carefully follow the series of steps illustrated below.
Make sure you have a Pok?mon that knows Fly. On Route 8, stand in front of the door of the Underground Path. Save your game, since saving after this point will disrupt the procedure.
Walk down one step and immediately press Start. If you succeed, the menu will pop up before the Gambler "sees" you. Go to the Pok?mon list and fly to Cerulean City.
The Gambler will see you just before you fly away.
Your Start button will no longer function. Go north across Nugget Bridge and head east until you find the trainer in this picture (he's the Youngster described above).
If you walk right up to the Youngster, the game will lock up, so you'll have to let him see you and walk up to you. Defeat his Slowpoke (afterwards, your Start button will work again), then fly to Lavender Town.
Head west into Route 8.
As soon as you enter the narrow path, the menu will pop up by itself. Press B to exit...
...and look who it is! Mew will be at Level 7 and its only attack will be Pound. Pok?ball, go!
