Select sideSuccessfully complete the game with Lui Bei and Cao Cao. Select "New Game" and you will be able to choose which side to be played.
Extra difficulty settings
Successfully complete the game with Liu Bei to the normal difficulty setting. Successfully complete the game with Cao Cao on the normal difficulty setting to unlock the expert difficulty setting.
Hidden battles
Select either Liu Bei or Cao Cao, and successfully complete the game on the expert difficulty setting to unlock a hidden battle for each side. As Liu Bei, the hidden battle is The Battle of East Lau. As Cao Cao, the hidden battle is The Battle of Chang Zheng.

these codes work only if you have a gameshark.
how do u get gameshark
speical Level 5 moves for Guan Yu and Zhang Fei.
What you do is start at the battle of Xu.
Send everyone to cavely officer and battle him when you defeat him the bowmen officer will come and battle send Zhang Fie to the plain over the bridge in the far right hand corner to destroy the store house.
Lui Bei and Guan Yu are battling now the enmey morale has halfed because you destroyed the enemys store house.
When you won a battle you get War and fame and exprince bonos so you send your units to himiko but Lui Bei gos in battle with Xaxion Xauion so now Zhan yon now comes send him to himiko.
When defeated himiko lose on purpose in lui Beis battle so it begins again keep doing this until you have the five speical moves.
