Bonus Falls LevelBeat the last 2 tournaments in Consumer mode to unlock the Falls level in Arcade mode.
Bonus Palace Level
Beat the first 2 tournaments in Consumer mode to unlock the Palace level in Arcade mode.
Extra Practice Levels
Beat the game once in arcade mode to unlock 3 new levels in Practice Mode.
Select Lure Color
In Consumer Mode press Up or Down to change the color of your lure.
Sonic lure
Beat all five tournaments in Consumer mode.
Female character
Press A + B at the arcade mode level selection screen.
Big fish
First pass it in arcade mode , then go to practice mode choose the lake "Cave" cast stright into the cave. And If you hear "Big one comming" it should be at least a 15 pounder.
Bigger fish
Get the falls area and go all the way to the right where the deer is up on the cliff. Cast around that area and there are usually at least 20-25 bass. ALL OVER 15 lbs. Dont do it at noon though, do it in the morning or in the night because everyone knows bass go deep when its bright and hot outside
New Clothes & Boat
To obtain new clothes and boat color, sucessfully reach the final tournament in normal mode.
Infinite time
When the start screen begins to appear if you press: A, B, Y, X, Y, A, B, L, R, Y, X, A, B, A, Y, X, Y. You will hear the man say ""FISH"". Then you will have infinite time.
Hints
The fish usually have a few choice spots they like to congregate in; remember these and cast to them first.
The really big fish move around while youre fishing, and theyre tough to keep track of, but keep a lookout for lunkers in the background as the camera follows your lure through the water. If your lure doesnt come too close to a big one, it will probably stay stationary. If you spot a moving one, try to anticipate its direction and the location its moving toward.
Use the grubtail worm on finicky fish. Let it settle slowly and use a slow retrieve.
Topwater baits work well in the morning, and you dont necessarily have to keep them moving. Let the bait sit for a couple of seconds, especially if the voice-over says, "A big ones coming near." A stationary bait can sometimes draw big strikes from big fish.
